Gig Harbor offers many activities, but in this quaint town, water sports abound. Sailing, kayaking and pleasure boats line the many marinas in Gig Harbor.
A public boat dock is located downtown and also there are three boat launches close by.

Cycling

Cyclists will much enjoy the Gig Harbor waterfront, as well as the winding country roads of the Crescent Valley. There is also the Cushman Trail, a perfect walking and cycling trail.

Golfing

Avid golfer? There are five public courses and one private course as well as a double deck driving range and miniature golf facility, offering something for beginning to expert golfers. Picturesque Parks

Gig Harbor is also home to many public parks on the water and secluded away from downtown. Space at parks may be reserved by calling 253-851-6170. Three State Parks and one RV Park offer campers a variety of options as well as day use facilities, beach access and hiking and biking opportunities.
